Merewif

After designing footwear in New York and Los Angeles, designer Savannah had gone back to her home town in North Carolina and started her own jewelry brand, called Merewif.  She has a lifelong admiration of the sea in which Merewif comes from - 'sea witch' in Old English. Handmade and designed from her own home, Merewif had become a complete reflection of a strong influence from the alechimistic elements of the sea.

Merewif uses gold filled chain on certain delicate necklace styles, which are composed of a number of layers wherein a gold alloy is permanently bonded to the brass core with both heat and pressure. 

In order to maintain a prolong life of the jewelry, the maker recommends removing the jewelry during shower/swimming and cleaning with harsh chemicals. It is advised to store the jewelry when not in use in a given padded box. If needed, clean with damp cloth.
