Merewif

 

After designing footwear in New York and Los Angeles, designer Savannah had gone back to her home town in North Carolina and started her own jewelry brand, called Merewif.  She has a lifelong admiration of the sea in which Merewif comes from - 'sea witch' in Old English. Handmade and designed from her own home, Merewif had become a complete reflection of a strong influence from the alechimistic elements of the sea.

All Merewif gold plated jewelry is 100% brass with sterling silver underneath.  Merewif uses a much thicker gold plate than the industry standard, and once the pieces are plated, a protective finish is added to prolong the life of the gold plate.  Merewif's gold plated jewelry should hold it’s plating for years if the wearer takes proper care of the piece.

 

In order to maintain a prolong life of the jewelry, the maker recommends removing the jewelry during shower/swimming and cleaning with harsh chemicals. It is advised to store the jewelry when not in use in a given padded box. If needed, clean with damp cloth.
