This special notebook is hand made with the cover paper and letterpress handmade in-house in California and the 16 interior pages (4 sheets folded in half) made by artisans in India. Tied with 100% silk ribbon sewn in India and botanically-dyed in California studio.
Each one of these notebook is crafted with love and care. Each paper and ribbon will slightly vary due to its' making and dying process.

Farmette
Farmette's founder Loren Profit Smith founded Farmette in 2017 in her studio in Bella Vista, California. She wanted to create a studio that emulated her family values; pursuing beauty, celebrating the rhythms of the season, making space for peace, and sharing the abundance of earth.
With her small team, Farmette designs, botanically dyes, handmakes, fold and letterpress print each notebooks that are offered. These artisanal notebooks are created from fiber to finish all by hand. Truly a "farm to card"!
Each notebook paper is created with 50% cotton noil half-stuff and 50% abaca blend. The cotton is remnant from a cotton mill in the garment industry in the US. Abaca is a fiber from the banana family and these are imported from the Philippines. The paper goes through a 12 step process, all requiring care and attention, all carefully made at Farmette.
Botanical Dyes such as Indigo, Catechu, Myrobalan, Fustic, Weld, Madder, Chestnut, Walnut are used to create a beautiful nuance of colour.
