Juliette Swindells

 

Specialising in wheel-thrown tableware, Juliette started her ceramic journey in 2020, back when ceramic studio was one of the only places open during the pandemic. She draws inspiration from the natural world, where her work is characterized by intricate surface decoration, techniques, including sgraffito, inlay, slip decoration, and blending traditional craftmanship with modern whimsical designs. Juliette's designs are deeply influenced by the time she spent in Cornwall, where she found beauty in the landscapes of standing stones and stone walls.
