Are Studio
Based in Los Angeles, Are Studio was founded by designer Cecilia Bordarampe. Her designs are timeless, functional and have a minimal soft aesthetic - each leather hide has a unique imperfection in texture and colors that creates a one-of-a-kind bag for each wearer. All materials and supplies are sourced ethically and locally from family owned manufacturers with minimal waste production. Each piece is a lifetime piece and an individual artwork.
Vegetable tanned semi-aniline cowhide has a smooth finish while retaining its natural grain. It is soft to the touch which creates a soft form bag and by usage, the leather will evolve overtime and become softer and darken. Maker recommends using a commercial grade protective treatment to avoid staining of the leather prior to use. Treated leather are easier to maintaining longer term care.
Additional Care
Gently wipe the leather with a smooth soft cloth to remove dirt light stain. When not on use, store the bag in the provided dust bag to protect from dust and sunlight.
