"Wa-rousoku" means literally Japanese candles.

 

All the candles that we select are made from 100% plant-derived materials such as haze (Japanese sumac tree), nuka (rice bran wax), and washi paper, cotton, and silk fibre for the wick. The traditional haze candles are crafted using techniques and materials that have remained unchanged since 16th century - an art form now preserved by only handful of Japanese craftsmen. These Japanese vegan candles produce very little soot and burn with a brighter flame, creating an eco-friendly option for modern day living.
